They Overcame Him
Rev. 12:9-11 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
1Pet. 5:5-9 God gives grace to the humble but opposes the proud. 6 Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith.

A) Don't be Ignorant
2Cor. 2:11 To keep Satan from getting the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Eph. 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Dan. 6:22 My God sent his angel to shut the lions' mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in His sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.

B) Overcoming the Accuser
1) Humility and God's Grace
Rom. 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
Eph. 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Titus 3:5 He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth, and new life through the Holy Spirit.

2) Love casts out Fear
1Peter 5:7...casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
1John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

3) Resist in him steadfastly in Faith
James 4:6-7 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." 7 Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil (accuser) and he will flee from you.
2Cor. 4:13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak,
Col. 2:14-15 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed. the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.
1John 2:1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
Luke 11:53-54 As Jesus was leaving, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees became hostile and tried to provoke him with many questions. 54 They wanted to trap him into saying something they could use against him.

4) Don't Align with the Accuser
Mat. 7:1-2 Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.
Gal. 5:14-15 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbour as yourself." 15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
Gal. 5:14-15 (TPT) - But if you continue to criticize and come against each other over minor issues, you're acting like wild beasts trying to destroy one another!
